Rinat is a predoctoral researcher within the Department of Communication of the University of Vienna since July 2023. Prior to joining AdMe, Rinat studied Psychology at the University of Würzburg (B.Sc., 2020, M.Sc., 2023). From November 2020 to May 2023, she was working in the project Problemverhalten verstehen und vorbeugen bei intellektueller Entwicklungsstörung und Autismusspektrumstörungen (ProVIA), funded by the Bavarian Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs.
Rinat is currently involved in the project Digital Hate: Perpetrators, Audiences, and (Dis)Empowered Targets (2023-2027), funded by the European Research Council (ERC), where she particularly focuses on audiences. Her main research interests include media and social psychology, intersectionality, counterspeech and content moderation.
